Continuing to Look to the Future

On February 8th, the Sisters gathered, once again, to meet with Joanne Yelle Wetherall, Executive Director of CRS (Canadian Religious Stewardship). After an opening prayer, Joanne shared some stories from other congregations, who are also working with CRS. It gave some insight into what other congregations are facing and how they are dealing with their issues. It also became clear that waiting for a crisis before acting, is not advisable. The rest of the morning was spent in small group discussion, talking about what we take for granted, how we express gratitude, what we see as our mission, personally and communally, and our mission as we move forward as a community.
