Continuing the Journey

On August 19th, the Ursulines met to continue their journey with CRS (Canadian Religious Stewardship) and Joanne Yelle Whetherall. The morning began with a reflection, led by Sr. Anne Lewans, congregational leader, about being in the upper room. We reflected on how we all need an upper room now and then, but that we cannot stay there forever. We were asked to consider what it meant for us, at this time together, to be in the upper room and what feelings were evoked. Sisters were invited to share their thoughts with the group.

Joanne then gave some updates, including about her and Sr. Anne's visit to Rome to meet with representatives of the Dicastery for the Institutes of Consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life (DICASAL). Both Joanne and Sr. Anne found it to be a good experience.

The meeting closed with lunch.
