The Legacy of 100 Years and Counting

On April 24th, the Ursulines of Prelate met to continue discussions about the legacy that the community has offered at the local, national and global levels in their 100 years of service. Statistics offered by Sr. Teresita Kambeitz were impressive in the number of communities - schools, churches, hospitals, nursing homes, etc - that have been served by the Sisters.

And the legacy continues as 36 Sisters keep on working and praying in the service of God. Lately, this service has included offering lay people the opportunity to be looked after in a private personal care home - St. Angela Merici Residence, where 16 Sisters still reside. Plans for the future included a presentation by Ray Kolla, board member, accountant and long-time friend. With humor he talked about the meticulous work of the Sisters and the size of Sr. Rosetta's spreadsheets. (See below)
